The underlying "bit" in the Far Cry games is satire, and it's done subtly enough you can almost overlook it. That sort of "there is no happy ending and everyone sucks" game is a nice change, so I'll play it if the actual gameplay is fun but the reviews for 6 aren't looking good. In 5, the bad guy is horrible but it turns out he was 100% correct. In 4, the protagonist gets duped into becoming a murdering terrorist by not one, but two rival megalomaniacs, and it turns out the game's purported bad guy wasn't really the bad guy after all (or, at least, less bad than the two megalomaniacs). I hated every character in them and the stories were.man. Pelvic Splanchnic Ganglion: I liked Far Cry 4 and 5's game play. FC 5 fishing is one of the best fishing side games yet they ruined it in new dawn. I was a couple hundred feet above the ground in a wing suit when one of them phased me into a capture. Unfortunalety, the story pulls were even worse than FC 3. I would say the overall gameplay is the best with how the map worked, the support characters and things to do. I agree that the story choices could have been better and more meaningful.įC 5 was even more beautiful yet, and in 4k is freaking awesome. Making them optional after that was a good design. The first arena was brutal but the first shangrala was cool. Thankfully there were only two areas that pulled you from your game.

One of the neat things is while it is fun and full game, it needed only 4gb of hard drive space.įC 4 was beautiful and great new area to play in. Yeah, you just murdered every person and animal in a 3k radius but here you are captured anyway. They were all good times but each had an issue or two.įC3 was awesome until it needed to capture you for a story bit. While waiting for a Ps5 to become available, I played FC 3, 4, and 5 on my PS4.
